The asset of Nowa Ruda is its location in south-western part of Kłodzko District between Sowie Mountains and Włodzickie Heights.  Nearby there are health-resorts of Kłodzko District and National Park of Stołowe Mountains with the well-known mountain Szczeliniec, Błędne Skały (at the Polish side) and Broumovskie Steny [Broumovskie Walls] (in the Czech Republic). It is possible to practice walking and cycling, and in the winter - skiing therefore Nowa Ruda constitutes a perfect place for trips and is a comfortable accommodation base which is attractive as far as prices are concerned.
